The Heart of Gold Award is the highest honor presented by Love Heals Youth at the annual Power of Love Gala. This distinguished award recognizes an individual whose life reflects extraordinary service, unwavering sacrifice, and a steadfast commitment to improving the lives of children and young adults impacted by foster care.
Recipients are selected for their exceptional generosity, compassionate leadership, and enduring dedication to serving others. Through their actions, they have become a guiding light—bringing hope where there was despair, love where there was loneliness, and healing where there was hurt.
Engraved on each award are the words:
"As a guiding light to service and sacrifice, we are eternally grateful for your devotion, generosity, and NEVER ENDING LOVE."
These words embody the spirit of every Heart of Gold recipient. Their legacy is measured not by recognition, but by the countless lives they have touched through selfless acts of kindness and unwavering faithfulness.
At Love Heals Youth, we believe that when one person chooses to love without limits, generations can be changed. The Heart of Gold Award celebrates those remarkable individuals whose compassion continues to inspire our mission and reminds us all that through LOVE, we HEAL.
