REGISTRATION for foster youth

If you would like to be a Host or a Faith Partner and sign-up to assist Love Heals Youth with hosting one of our Day of Counseling events, please complete the HOST FORM below.

Our Faith Partners will help facilitate the day through providing lunch (brining home-cooked or purchased food, serving the food), bringing desserts for an ice cream social, coordinate a group activity. Rebecca or a Board Member will get with you for more details and to confirm a date to host.

Thank you so much for your willingness to share this special day with our foster youth and your desire to show them an abundance of love.

This is one of our favorite opportunities to serve the foster youth! We are so excited to share more with you.

The counselors arrive early to the office so they can set the counseling stations up before the youth get to the building. There are between 4 to 6 stations depending on the registered foster youth. The stations have 2 to 5 kids per counselor and last for approximately 40 minutes. The youth will rotate through each station and accumulate stamps on a VIP card for prizes at the end of the day.

We ask our Faith Partners / Hosts to join us around 11am to set lunch up and be ready to serve around 12pm. Typically, we plan lunch for 25 to 30 foster youth, staff, and counselors. If you would like to join the youth after serving them, we invite everyone to the table. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve the foster youth and provide them with home cooking that is a rare experience for them. THEY LOVE THE POTLUCK LUNCHES!!

After lunch we will offer a fun activity and our hosts are always welcome to stay and participate.
